I had a REALLY AMAZING stay and will be back! I liked this lovely boutique hotel and stayed for 8 nights here. There were coffee and a living room in my deluxe queen room. Location: the property was close to centre of town, centrum, train station and seaside, and restaurant. The lunch in Dragao Dourado not too far from the hotel had every choice imaginable.

nice staff, exceptionally comfortable hotel with a magnificent location. location near to the old city center of setubal and nice restaurants. exceptionally comfortable bed, silent and reasonably spacious room. great food in the patio for breakfast.

The total stay was absolutely amazing in winter time. There were coffee and a living area in the room, truly enjoyed that. The bed was good, a tub worked well. The hotel was in a convenient and decent location, near to National Park. It was also so close to the old city center of Setubal, rail station and railway and bus...

my recent stay in setubal exceeded all expectations. alcacaria do bairro is perfectly located, with a cozy room and a breakfast tailored to your preferences. the staff went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay, and the wifi was excellent.

Shower drainage needs improvement.

Truly enjoyed Setubal, the hotel was absolutely fantastic and nice little to the nearest open restaurant at 22 pm. Spacious and bright room with free Wi-Fi was all we needed.

The room was huge and nicely furnished with high ceiling - really enjoyed it. Central location of this excellent boutique hotel was a bonus.

We had an amazing stay at Alcacaria Do Bairro Bed & Breakfast. The room was spotless and freshly renovated, perfect for our small family. The breakfast served by the friendly lady was delicious. The restaurant downstairs offered great Portuguese food and fantastic wine at a decent price. Guilherme and his wife were fantastic hosts, providing us with valuable local restaurant suggestions and tourist information. The room was spacious, clean, and stylish. Carla, our host, was informative and always available. an excellent experience!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was small but spotless and freshly renovated, perfect for our small family. The location was ideal, as it was near the railway and bus stations, making it easy for us to explore the city. We also loved that it was within walking distance of the historic center. The breakfast served daily was delicious, with fresh fruits and a friendly lady serving us. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready with advice and assistance. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a restaurant next door, where we could enjoy great Portuguese food and fantastic wine at a decent price.

Location - it was particularly good, a railroad station was near the hotel. The venue was easy walk to Setubal downtown.

The room at Alcacaria Do Bairro was awesome! The private bathroom had a bath or shower and free toiletries so I felt like I was staying in a fancy spa. As someone with physical handicaps, it was super convenient having a bathroom right in my room.

Honestly, I found the hairdryer in the private bathroom a little outdated. But hey, that's just my personal taste.

Always stay here, no regrets! Staff gave me local food number on first visit. Perfect fit for all my needs - Wi-Fi, Leisure/TV room, Cots, No pets allowed, No smoking on site. Coming back for business trip.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The room was lovely and spacious, with a comfortable bed and double glazing windows that blocked out any street noise. The owner and staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. They held our baggage before and after check-in so we had more time to explore. The breakfast offered a fresh and filling variety of food. The hotel's location was key, being close to attractions and restaurants.
